Privacy Policy

We (m.oak LLC) will only request access to data relevant to the core functionality of the app (Cogos StudyCard), and will only collect and use data that is required to accomplish the relevant task. We do not request, collect, or store any personally identifiable information. We will not make user data available to advertisers or 3rd party services. We do not use personal information collected through the app for marketing purposes.

We do collect and use data created incidentally through use of the app – e.g., bug/crash reports, error logs, usage statistics and other similar data. Error logs and reports in particular may contain user-generated content. Users may opt out of this behavior in their device's settings. We use this information to identify and fix bugs, improve performance, develop new features, and measure the quality of existing features. We do not share this data with 3rd parties.

Future versions of Cogos StudyCards may require changes to this privacy policy. For example, we may add new features that take advantage of hardware capabilities (e.g., camera, GPS, fingerprint/facial recognition, etc...), or networking features. We may also employ 3rd party analytics tools, APIs, or software libraries provided by trusted partners. Any such action will be reflected in an update to this policy, and we will remain committed to user privacy and minimizing data collection.
